Bronze gifts
People often buy my sculptures to give as bronze gifts for special occasions.
| What clients say... "Mother and Child looks fantastic and Peter loves it - thank you." A gift for a husband's important birthday "Jiggilypuff has arrived in perfect condition and looks wonderful. She is lying near the fire in the living room." A client who bought for herself | I suppose investing in a sculpture can be a reward for many things. Certainly, there are many reasons why people buy sculpture gifts...Wedding anniversary presents A bronze sculpture could be very appropriate for an 8th wedding anniversary, because eight years is the 'bronze anniversary' - although I don't know how much notice people take of such things. Recently a young couple bought themselves my Flying Woman (now unavailable) for their tenth wedding anniversary. I find it is very touching that people chose to mark such personal occasions with my sculptures. Marking a retirement A neighbour asked for one of my sculptures as a retirement present. A bronze seems suitably weighty to indicate the start of new phase in a person's life, as well as thanking them for everything they've done in their working years.A present for yourself...Another recent buyer was a woman who had been awarded an MBE and wanted to buy a special memento for herself. She chose Jiggilypuf (all sold now), which is one of my old favourites.
Some clients buying bronze gifts choose a special event as an opportunity (or even an excuse!) to acquire a larger, more expensive piece. Sculpture is so durable, and will always remind its owner of the person who gave it and the occasion.
