May 6, 2009, A Huge "Thank You" To Elizabeth
I'd like to say a huge 'thank you' to Elizabeth Martyn who inspired me to get this site going.
She was an acquaintance who lives round the corner from me. First of all she told me that my old site was getting very little traffic and explained the mysterious world of website rules.... Then she held my hand, advised, encouraged and bullied (!) me into talking about my work (something I find awkward ).
I am so grateful to her for all she has done making this a much bigger and more varied site than I imagined possible, getting the all important traffic up by tenfold and regularly updating it with me.
Now she is letting this project go, and I shall miss her presence but fortnunately we will not lose touch since we have become firm friends. She has decided to concentrate on her own writing and her very successful website (follow the link below).
Now my website's health is in the hands of Marc de Jong, a webmaster in Sweden, who tho at a distance, is very responsive and helpful.... Hello Marc! Like Elizabeth he will no doubt be bullying, sorry encouraging, me to keep up with ezines etc... So thank you - in advance - to Marc.
