Bergh Apton Sculpture Trail 2008: 'Balance'
24/25 May, 31 May/1 June and 7/8 June 2008
This is the fifth Sculpture Trail to be held in the Norfolk village of Bergh Apton, and takes place over 3 summer weekends. There is an exhibition in the village hall, and open gardens with sculptures by local and national artists sited by the artists in individual gardens. Teas available.

Vanessa will be showing the bronze Mother and Child and also a new larger bronze, Balance. Event takes place in and around the village of Bergh Apton, Norfolk.

Inaugural Exhibition - Guildford

Annabelle Agace's first gallery space, designed around her new house in Guildford, incorporates clear, natural surfaces ideal for sculptures both inside and out. The perfect foil for fine art, this is not a gallery but a delightful home designed for living and showing painting and sculpture at its best. Thompson's Gallery Sculpture Exhibition - London

Talk: Royal British Society of Sculptors
22 November 2006
Last of current series of talks "18@ 108 – Sculptors on Sculpture" on the way sculptors work today, in which artists of diverse approach, inspiration and origin share what it’s like to work in stone, installation and bronze.

Featuring Vanessa Pooley, who uses bronze to create timeless curvaceous female figures that highlight the intimacy and humour within human relationships. Vanessa will be talking with two other sculptors, Giles Penny, known for his abstracted, humorous and almost graphic creations, and Japanese artist Nobuo Hase, whose bronze forms attempt to bridge the cultural and perceptual gap between the artist and viewer in search of common associations.
